Fish is sometimes filled with bat, bacon, breadcrumbs, food, vegetables, and seasoning, often with a slice of lemon, before being fried or eaten.

Ingredients:

  • Egg = 1.0 pc
  • Beer = 1.5 cup
  • All purpose flour = 1.0 cup
  • Garlic Powder = 1.0 tsp { Tea Spoon }
  • Salt = 0.5 tsp
  • Ground Black Pepper = 0.5 tsp
  • Cod Fillets = 0.45 Kg (s)
  • Crushed Comflake Crumbs = 2.0 cup
  • Cajun Seasoning = 1.0 tsp
  • Oil for Frying = 0.95 L

Method:

  • In a medium bowl beat together egg, beer, flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper and place cod in the bowl, thoroughly coating with the mixture.
  • In a separate medium bowl, mix the comflake crumbs and cajun seasoning and dip the cod in the crumb mixture thoroughly coating all the sides.
  • In a deep fryer, heat the oil to 365F ( 185C ), fry the fish until golden brown until the flesh easily flakes with a fork.
  • Serve hot!
